I have a $1000 dollars for a new wardrobe, what should I get?

I'd buy some basics and "must haves" that can be interchanged. Go for something that won't get too dated yet looks nice--something that looks clean and clic. I love the ambercrombie jeans, and stripes look nice and seem to be in style right now. Don't go for the maternity look (where the shirt is tight at the and then puckers out) please--I see girls wearing it all the time and it looks like they're chubby. Also, dont' buy the shirts that have their logos printed all over them--that seems tacky to me that businesses do that. I wouldn't spend the entire $1000 on clothing, however--buy what a couple of items that will improve your wardrobe and save up what you have left in a CD so that you'll have more money when you get into college.
