in 2002 doctors started using PCR c3a c4a blood tests and following the ILADS infectious disease guidlines they began to find many people with this condition also have bacterial blood infections that can be treated, the treatment can in itself be very harsh and difficult to stay on but can greatly reduce the the suffering. my breakouts that lasted for up to over a month or more are down to a few days and the size of the sores themselves are much smaller now. Everyone in my family has shingles.
