Should a child on the bottom with your open hand be REINSTATED..read more?

I my 11 year old girl when she is rude, dfies me or lies to me, and it has worked pretty well so far. I have noticed that her with my hand on the bottom does not impress her very much any more (her behind is pretty well padded), so I'll either have change to other means of discipline (taking away phone and/or computer) or use a slipper or spoon to her. 10 and 111 year old girls can be very difficult, so you might well try reinstating s; but don't go too easy on them!
