How much should I pay for the cello?

My daughter who is 12 has been playing the cello since 7 and she started to show her great talent as a cellist. She was the first chair cellist in an orchestra on Long Island two counties combined. She has her own full size cello (Ivan Dunov, Superior $3500) which is now a year old. We visited a cello maker's workshop and fell in love with another cello which sounded amazing......but the price tag said $22,000. I guess it is not the most expensive cello out there, but I want to know what should be her next cello and when we should purchase it. She is considering to pursue her music career seriously and she is going to audition for pre-college program at Juilliard, NY. any thoughts or suggestions?
