Why did the police arrest this hardworking Mexican immigrant who was only trying to give others a better life?

You're kidding, right? The man is a criminal and he was helping others become criminals, too. That's what we do here in this country. When people break the laws, we arrest them. Most criminals claim they have a good reason for commiting their crimes. But that is not an excuse. Here in this country, when you break the law, you go to jail. But he should have been arrested long before he hatched his illegal scheme. He should have been arrested the minute he stepped into this country. Why don't people understand that? It doesn't matter what his motives were. He commited a crime, so he should go to jail. Then he should be deported.
